Warranty Coverage

5-Year Frame Warranty

All structural frames are warranted against manufacturing defects for 5 years from the date of delivery.

2-Year Upholstery Warranty

Fabric and leather upholstery is covered for 2 years against abnormal wear, seam failure, and colour fading.

What's Covered

Structural frame defects (breakage, warping, joint failure)
Spring and suspension system failures
Foam and cushion core defects (excessive loss of resilience)
Fabric seam failure under normal use
Abnormal colour fading of upholstery
Hardware and mechanism failures (recliners, adjustable components)

What's Not Covered

Normal wear and tear, including fabric pilling and cushion softening
Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper care
Damage from pets, sharp objects, or chemical exposure
Colour variations due to natural material characteristics
Products purchased from unauthorised retailers
Commercial use of residential-grade furniture

Delivery Damage Returns

Important: FOBOO accepts returns and exchanges only for products damaged during delivery. We do not offer change-of-mind returns.

All FOBOO furniture is carefully inspected and professionally packaged before leaving our warehouse. However, as our products are shipped internationally from our manufacturing facility, delivery damage can occasionally occur.

If your product arrives with delivery damage, we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

How to Report Delivery Damage

Inspect on Delivery

Check your furniture immediately upon delivery. Note any visible damage to the packaging or product.

Document the Damage

Take clear photos of the damage, including the packaging, delivery labels, and the affected areas of the product.

Contact Us Within 3 Days

Email [email protected] with your order number, photos, and a description of the damage within 3 days of delivery.

Resolution

Our team will assess the damage and arrange a replacement or full refund within 3 business days.

What We Don't Accept Returns For

  • • Change of mind or style preference
  • • Minor colour variations from screen display (natural material characteristics)
  • • Damage caused after delivery (misuse, accidents, pets)
  • • Products that have been assembled and used beyond initial inspection

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this warranty policy limits, excludes, or modifies the consumer guarantees provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or any equivalent state or territory legislation.

Pricing & GST

All prices displayed on the FOBOO website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax) where applicable. GST is calculated at the standard rate of 10% and is included in the listed price. A GST breakdown is provided on your order confirmation and invoice.
